Annual/Cyclical Grant Deadlines

The purpose of this calendar is to provide FSU researchers with tentative annual/cyclical submission dates. This grant calendar is meant to serve as a reminder for upcoming significant or prestigious funding opportunities across disciplines. Several of these are considered prestigious awards by the Top American Research University (TARU), Center for Measuring University Performance (CMUP) Awards, or the Association of American Universities (AAU) Awards, and assist with our title as a Preeminent University.  Receiving some of these awards is considered by Provost Sally McRorie as an Extraordinary Accomplishment, can greatly influence a faculty member's university reputation, and even increase salaries.  

This is not an exhaustive or all-inclusive list. Some submission dates are not released more than a month in advance. The grant programs are organized by the tentative month that the applications are due. Look at each grant program solicitation on the individual agency’s websites for the confirmed deadlines. To find more grant opportunities subscribe to Pivot or GrantForward, FSU’s subscription funding databases, and request support from the Office of Research Development team.

Limited submission dates listed in this table are for the external agency.  YOU WILL NEED TO SUBMIT A PRE-PROPOSAL TO FSU's LIMITED SUBMISSION SITE AT AN EARLIER DEADLINE!  Check the FSU Limited Submissions site for our (2-4 months) earlier internal deadline!
