Description:
An integrated three-port bidirectional DC-DC converter to interface with PV panels and batteries. With no additional components added, the cost and complexity of the system does not increase. Photovoltaic (PV) with battery backup system is not only expected to tackle the PV market with the Feed-in Tariff (FiT) rates set to decline and conventional electricity prices projected to rise, but also helps to mitigate the high penetration issue into the grid.
